New Year Cleanse Class
My yearly cleanse, a 3-week, 4 session cleanse class, will meet weekly via Zoom from 6-7 pm starting Tuesday, January 7th ending Tuesday January 28th.
Participate in a cleanse while leveraging the power of community to achieve your goal(s)! Not only are we going to do a cleanse but learn the simple things you can do to create a healthier gut and a healthier lifestyle, leading to a healthier you.
“A cleanse is a distinct program, done for a concentrated period of time, that puts the body in a more intense detox mode. It has a start and an end date and a specific purpose.”
Dr. Alejandro Junger, author of the book Clean and Clean Gut
After we negotiate the holidays, that’s a good time to nurture the body and build some resilience for the winter ahead. I have been leading cleanses for over 15 years now and I keep doing them for a reason – it improves the health and resilience of my patients and for me as well. I know this from the countless symptom survey forms I have given pre and post cleanse to everyone who has done the class – the results are overwhelmingly positive. From renewed energy, to gut issues to skin issues, to sleep, to aches and pains – people experience real change and pick up real habits that last! A cleanse isn’t simple, it requires some ‘limbic grit’, but the rewards are worth it.
This is the cleanse detox questionnaire that I start and end every cleanse class with. Elizabeth went from 92 to 23. Cindy went from 36 to 19. Kim from 53 to 12. Ned from 42 to 23. These are not outliers. When we take away sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and a few allergens, this happens, we heal. Healthcare! I keep doing them because of the consistently good results, the ability to teach and learn new practices, and they are one of my own personal best health practices. The more I learn about the gut and the microbiome, the more committed I become.
This cleanse utilizes a four-pronged approach to maximize gut health; an elimination diet, 2 liquid meals per day, intermittent fasting, and a supplement protocol. This is a very well-designed program that gives our bodies the opportunity to renew and replenish. I strongly recommend this for anyone seeking to improve or optimize their health. I consider this an important part of my own personal healthcare.
Cost of the class is $140. Supplements and the meal replacements are an additional $220. For more information you can email me at drchastings@hotmail.com
